Hey all, i have a built this thing, and it's partially working. If i tune the trims, i get the flanging effect, however, the rate pot seems to not do anything. Could anybody who has a fully working version, post some pin voltages ? There is some pin voltages for the markusw version, but the gm-version has dual LM358, instead of the quad LM324.

Btw, i am planning to put it into a Boss-Pedal, and call it the "Boss's mistress" ;)

Hey guys, I have built this particular pedal before. I was able to get the SAD1024 from Small Bear, as this was several years ago. Thanks so much for the layouts (mine was single-sided PCB) and all your hard work. Worked perfectly on the first try. I added a rate LED off-board and it has been a great pedal.

Hello and thank you for this great site!

I'd like to try to etch your double-sided PCB but the ZIP-file only contains 1 side of the pcb. Or maybe I'm just confused...
"pcb.png" is the top-side, right? And the file called perf.png shows the connections on the other side, but this a component layout file and cannot be used for etching.

Thanks,
Miska

Do you have any comparisons to the the original EM? Would you say that the sound of this clone is comparable to the original? Also, I have been reading the threads over on DIY Stompboxes and have been considering using the MN3007 or equivalent for this circuit. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

hello

I want to build this FX, but like James, i could not find SAD1024, but i have MN3010. can i build this FX by only replacing the SAD1024 with MN3010? (of course i have to pay attention for the correct pin)

thx very much

Anyone know of any updated schematics or how to build one of these without using the SAD1024 chips? I've been looking everywhere and can't find any more of these chips! Even smallbear has sold the last of their supply :(

Is there a compatible replacement or something, what are people using now??

hi poniz,

if you hardwire this version of the electric mistress for sweep then you can eliminate the switch and put jumpers from S1/2 to S1/3+4 and from S1/5 to S1/6.

on some other electric mistresses, i believe you may be able to eliminate a resistor as well.

all the best, gm/paul
