the voltage reference at the bottom has (t) after the 9+ and gnd. what does the (t) mean???

Hi Gauss…I have made the T.M.K and I have a little problem…When I turn the 500K pot all the way down I get a annoying sound like when you change radio frequency…when the pot is around 3 o’clock everything goes to normal and I get pretty sounds…I have to tell you that instead of putting 250K pots I putt 220K and also instead of 300K I have put 220K…is that what coses the weird sound??? Thanks

hi, ive assembled this as a gift for a friend, i already tried 2 tl062 s and unfortunately its not working, the diodes are of correct orientation and the LEDs light up but very dim, sometimes only 1 would light up, it very much if you could give me some tips, great site BTW

hi, i’m pretty slow responding aren’t i? in july, things will improve.

all the pots can be linear or audio. stobiepole used linear in the pictured build, except for the final volume pot.

a 250K will work and so will a 500K. besides controlling volume, the pot works with the final capacitor as a high pass filter. so the choice does affect the tone.

you could also add a 47K resistor on one side or the other to reproduce Escobedo’s values for most of the throw of the pot.

The sound clips are great. This is a fun sounding pedal. Are all the pots linear or audio? I was also wondering the same thing as Dustin, can a 300K pot be replaced with a more common 250K?
