		<description>Great plan, I made one addition.  I added a cross bar in the front on the 2 upturned 90&#039;s and set the height to force the back of the amp flat on the back braces.  This one change eliminated the possibility of bumping the amp and tipping it forward.  Thanks again for a great plan.</description>

yes, the idea is to have the amp low and tilted back so that it works like a floor monitor.  otherwise, the sound is aimed at your knees.  but the amp&#039;s not right on the floor--it&#039;s on the stand.

Also, since all the forces is in the vertical, would it be possible not to glue the horizontal connections, so you can easily take it apart and make it portable.</description>

		<description>hah!  you read my mind.  my stand is a pvc version of those low cradle triangle types.  this gives a low center of gravity and no need for a neck support. :cool:</description>
